Conveniently situated 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the city centre, we offer a range of accommodation during the summer months (June to September).

The versatility of our accommodation makes us ideal for individuals, groups, families and conference delegates. For an additional cost, you can also enjoy the swimming pool, gym and spa facilities in the modern leisure centre. Recently in receipt of the IASI (Irish Accommodation Standards) award, and with a large restaurant that seats 200 people, Dublin City University can meet all your travelling requirements. The campus itself is in the heart of Glasnevin which hosts Ireland's Botanic Gardens, within walking distance of the Omni Shopping Centre and Omniplex Cinema. We are a 5 minute bus journey from the famous GAA grounds of Croke Park where hurling, international rugby and football, and Irish football games are played every year.

How to get there:

By car from airport - approx 10 mins. Follow the M1, direction city centre, and turn right at Whitehall Church into Collins Avenue. DCU is 500 metres on the left hand side. By bus: - : From the airport, you can get the following buses: 41, 41A, 41B, 41C (EUR1.50) or. For all these buses, ask the bus driver to let you out at Whitehall, and then walk 20 mins along Collins Avenue to DCU. We don't advise this option, as previous guests found it a long way when carrying luggage". If you wish to save a few euros, you can get the bus from the airport, stop at Whitehall and then get a taxi to DCU. Remember: Dublin Bus does not give change and does not accept notes, so please make sure you have the exact fare of EUR1.50

From town: Follow the airport road which takes you through Drumcondra and turn left at the Whitehall/Collins Avenue junction. DCU is 500 metres on the left. It is also possible to drive through Phibsborough towards Glasnevin, turning into the Ballymun Road. DCU is on the right hand side of the dual carriageway, but you will need to drive further on to the Collins Avenue/Ballymun Road junction and turn right in order to avail of the multistory carpark (DCU is 500 metres on the right).
